Taking an Order

Server/Host/Bartender

This position offers a dynamic role at Northside Diner,
where your friendly demeanor and organizational skills contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
A server works closely with all other members of the staff and must be versatile and flexible
in order to fulfill the typical duties of a server, host, and bartender, as the situation demands.

They are available to work 4/5 days a week for 25 - 30 hours a week.

Mixing Salad

Line Cook

The line cooks, BK, am and pm, are assigned a station on the line but have the ability to move around each station.
They assist the sous-chefs with the day to day tasks of the kitchen.
Line cooks work closely with the prep cooks to ensure seamless flow of ingredients.
They are available to work 4/5 days a week for 25 - 30 hours a week.

Preparing Food

Prep Cook/2nd Dishwasher

The prep cooks/2nd dishwasher work cold side stations and assist with both fryer and grill duties.
Food preparation duties. They assist the line cooks with the day to day tasks of the kitchen.
Prep cooks work closely with the line cooks to ensure seamless flow of ingredients.
Dishwasher duties when deemed necessary.
They are available to work 5 days a week for 25 - 30 hours a week.

Chef Portrait

Sous Chef

The sous-chefs, both am and pm, are the kitchen’s second in command.
They are in charge when the kitchen manager is not around.
They assist the kitchen manager with every aspect of the kitchen and the BOH team.
They are available to work 5 days a week for 30 – 35 hours a week.

Washing Dishes

Dishwasher

The dishwasher works the wet station.
This job demands physical labor and is essential in keeping the kitchen flowing. 
The dishwasher leaves the kitchen cleaner than they find it.
They are available to work 5 days a week for 15 – 25 hours a week.
